McLaren is known for performance and it continues that success on the track. It spent much of its time taking qualifying and standing on the podium.
The Artura GT4 qualified in top 10 and finished 6th place on its debut in Daytona for the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge race. Both cars finished the four hour race. The 720S GT3 took GTD class podium with Inception Racing. The demand for McLaren race cars remain strong and McLaren will indeed have a lot of work keeping up, especially if they continue their success. Continue to keep your eye on this cars as they've been strong for quite some time and the new acquisitions are no exception.

After watching a great deal of racing I never thought I'd see a Ford Mustang that really caught my attention. That is until I saw the Ford GT3 introduced in the last few days. I could talk for an hour on the car, but I'll just let Ford Motorsports speak for me with this video. Enjoy. Before I leave, can a Mustang be a Supercar? You tell me... Officially our first show out for the year is the Babson Auto Show. It's more like a car meet in that cars drive out, hang out and show off their potential. It still garners a good deal of attention and a number of high powered cars in attendance. We cover it for the supercar presence and it definitely delivers in that area. From a Lamborghini Countach to Mclaren and Aston Martin the show had representation in just about every sector. We can even appreciate the wide-body Subaru parked next to a Skyline. So it was a great event and we love to share it with you, so check it out! Our friend Karl shows off his awesome vehicle and explains why it's so special. When Ferrari unveiled an SUV the world shuddered. Could the mighty be falling to pressure? It certainly seemed so as they went with the plug in hybrids, but Ferrari wants you to understand that they still believe in passion. Passion for the drive, the experience, the thing that makes Ferrari what it is and that's not just a track experience. I think that's a great move for Ferrari. It seemed in the early '90s they felt their customers were an afterthought to just building a faster car, but once they were challenged to that crown by a street car they decided to embrace a more consumer friendly experience. That experience paid off in spades as we dawned a new generation and today the experience is deeply rooted in the past, as well as the future. Ferrari drivers are, in fact, Ferrari loyal. Something not well known in their segment. So how do you sell a crowd of loyal Ferrari owners that there is a new Ferrari experience? Simply put, you tell them it's a new experience. The Purosangue isn't an outsourced SUV, it's made by Ferrari. It, by definition, is uniquely Ferrari and that design concept may have evolved over time, but even when we've had our doubts, they truly offer a customer experience that is unique to the brand. Don't take our word for it, check out the video and tell us what you think about the future of Ferrari. Barring the pronunciation, everything the new flagship Lamborghini will be has been released. Today they've shown off the look of the car and it's come with mixed reviews. Many love the performance and architecture, but there's a split on the presentation. It has a very clear Sian feel to the vehicle and it's not shocking that the underlying frame and drive-line were first tested via the Sian application. What is clear is that the purpose of the Revuelto is to invigorate buyers to accept the new hybrid system as an incredibly powerful platform and worthy as a flagship position. So the question is, does it do that? There's no doubt that the classic V12 is present, which is exactly what we wanted to see and gives many the feeling that this engine will be with us for at least the next 10 years, at least until it's banned outright. The truth is, it's simply a reprieve to get past the time it will take to develop an all electric worthy of the Lamborghini name. As long as it has a V12 it should see sales and the new dual clutch system has been desired by Lamborghini owners for some time, so there are those that will purchase it just for that bonus, but continued input on how it performs on the streets and the feeling of those that drive it will be important and key to its acceptance. These are all hurdles the Aventador didn't have to overcome. It had the added value of new carbon fiber, the first new engine for Lamborghini with the V12 and even more horsepower than ever before. Everyone was on board with it. That isn't true for this new platform. There are stark critics too the new platform, but they have to concede that it is indeed stays pure to Lamborghini design. It's cutting edge, a V12, very fast, and made for the streets. We'll keep an eye on it until the final word comes in and have a show for should you buy down the road. You may want to check your sound levels on this video. From the pure perfection to the beating of the drums, this vehicle will motivate emotion. Saba's GT-R has the look and sound that Nissan owners crave and the performance to back it up. Captured perfectly by Newton Productions, it's perfect merging of power and energy. Check it out. Back in 2018 I was invited to join Lamborghini Boston as the passenger in the Lambo Huracan race car. This was before Lamborghini's main area truly supported these types of runs, so it was supported at the dealership level. Even so it was attended by a great deal of vehicles, including a Miura, which was an incredible car to drive with. The next step in the journey would be to drive, police escorted, from the dealership to the Tutto Italiano Italian automaker show. An exclusively Italian car show that was the toast of the town every year. It is still held to this day at the Larz Anderson auto museum, the oldest automotive museum in the United States on their park grounds in Brookline Massachusetts (if you haven't gone to visit you should). It was an incredibly fun event that was actually very last minute for me, which means that although I had my camera equipment I wasn't ready to use my camera equipment. My car was stuck at the dealership and I was suddenly off to the races. That meant the quality wasn't the best, but I still wanted to cover it. At editing I wasn't happy and just put up Short versions of the video that didn't do very well. After reviewing these clips I considered that they weren't as bad as I thought and even the ones that were deserve to be shared. So for the first time I've decided to merge the videos and share the completed run with you. I ask that you forgive the bad quality at parts. Hope you like it and let me know what you think in the comments! Carbon is quickly becoming the go-to for supercar libation. Starting with their Bugatti limited editions quickly caught the gaze of anyone with a warm pulse. Wrapped in a carbon fiber and stored in a case resembling the vehicle it was hard not to be drawn in by it. It toasted the F1 winners in 2018 and has continued to latch onto the supercar community like no other. Announced yesterday they've now introduced a Lamborghini partnership that is currently in development. Lamborghini is no stranger to wine so it will be interesting to see what this perfect collaboration could represent. The real question is who is Carbon Champagne and why has it taken off so fast? Carbon Champagne was created in 2011 by Carbon CEO Alexndre Mea. Mea is a 5th generation heir to the Devavry family Champagne house in 1920. They create champagne using hand processed Grand Cru and Permier Cru fruit stored in oak barrels to add flavor. Due to the low volume its very exclusive and very expensive. Once it leaves the traditional creation process it becomes very technological with a specially made carbon fiber bottle in various colored finishes. These bottles are made to protect the champagne from light to preserve the taste, but visually it makes them appealing and stunning to look at. This balance of traditional design with forward thinking presentation simply defines the car world in every way imaginable. A perfect balance of nature. It presents itself as pure, exclusive, and powerful. It doesn't try to force itself to represent the vehicle it emulates, it tries to flow with it, grasp part of its essence and embrace its heritage. It's simple thinking with complex design and it is indeed compelling. So as many have not tasted Carbon Champagne the desire to experience what those in very elite circles have is infectious. So much more than sitting in your favorite supercar for the first time, to consume it, to become part of it could be considered a religious experience and never has a drink ever offered such a thing for automotive aficionados. If you feel compelled to have some for yourself you can head over to their website to purchase some of your own. If you need only experience what they represent you can join their social media. You can visit them at https://www.champagne-carbon.com/ Sometimes racing design crosses paths with awesome cars and magic happens.
The Super GT is a Japan only racing division that comes in two classes. The GT500 is the major manufacturers like Honda, Toyota, and Nissan. While the GT300 class is for all entrants. Each number represents the maximum power the vehicle can have. Super GT is very competitive and allows everything from Lamborghinis and Mercedes to compete against Toyota and Subarus. Sometimes you get crazy renditions, such as the Prius mid-engined V8 hybrid with all wheel drive that event after event battled the Huracan. So when they announce a new dedicated race car we pay attention. This Lexus is a perfect example of what we can look forward to. The racing series has just started testing and it looks like it's going to be an amazing year. Here's an opportunity to share and we hope you love the eye candy. |
