Carbon is quickly becoming the go-to for supercar libation. Starting with their Bugatti limited editions quickly caught the gaze of anyone with a warm pulse. Wrapped in a carbon fiber and stored in a case resembling the vehicle it was hard not to be drawn in by it. It toasted the F1 winners in 2018 and has continued to latch onto the supercar community like no other. Announced yesterday they've now introduced a Lamborghini partnership that is currently in development. Lamborghini is no stranger to wine so it will be interesting to see what this perfect collaboration could represent. The real question is who is Carbon Champagne and why has it taken off so fast? Carbon Champagne was created in 2011 by Carbon CEO Alexndre Mea. Mea is a 5th generation heir to the Devavry family Champagne house in 1920. They create champagne using hand processed Grand Cru and Permier Cru fruit stored in oak barrels to add flavor. Due to the low volume its very exclusive and very expensive. Once it leaves the traditional creation process it becomes very technological with a specially made carbon fiber bottle in various colored finishes. These bottles are made to protect the champagne from light to preserve the taste, but visually it makes them appealing and stunning to look at. This balance of traditional design with forward thinking presentation simply defines the car world in every way imaginable. A perfect balance of nature. It presents itself as pure, exclusive, and powerful. It doesn't try to force itself to represent the vehicle it emulates, it tries to flow with it, grasp part of its essence and embrace its heritage. It's simple thinking with complex design and it is indeed compelling. So as many have not tasted Carbon Champagne the desire to experience what those in very elite circles have is infectious. So much more than sitting in your favorite supercar for the first time, to consume it, to become part of it could be considered a religious experience and never has a drink ever offered such a thing for automotive aficionados. If you feel compelled to have some for yourself you can head over to their website to purchase some of your own. If you need only experience what they represent you can join their social media.
