Lamborghini Introduces the LB744 Engine Configuration

Lamborghini has been excitedly announcing their new hybrid configuration with their 60th Anniversary celebration and today they released the new engine specs and how it looks.  Happily the V12 power plant is retained and no Lambo today would be complete without the all wheel drive layout, but there are significant changes.  The engine has been turned 180 degrees and a, for what will excite many, an 8 speed dual clutch system has been added and to hearken back to the Miura, it's mounted transversely!  They hybrid system will both start the vehicle and provide quicker power delivery of torque vectoring.  It's really got everything we've ever wanted in a flagship vehicle.  The hybrid system has the additional motors, so it'll be interesting to see how it's implemented on a drive, but it should be an incredible bonus to handling.
