The Porsche 944 was significant as the start of a journey for me. It was this journey, the Society journey. I had wanted one for what seemed like forever and had other 944s, but that turbo is the step up that kinda said you made it. When I picked it up in 2011 after my other 2 944s were stolen I thought that was the bounce back from bad times. Instead it would be the beginning of a long and arduous journey. If I have but one regret it is that I didn't take enough pictures of it. Honestly, I wasn't as proud of it as I should've been. When you're surrounded by supercars it's tough to think your lowly 944 means much, but I had dreams for it! Alas here we are in 2022 and it hasn't been loved quite the way I would've liked to. I spend more time making videos and gathering content now than I ever do driving it and it started to develop issues. Issues I didn't have time to truly focus on. A patch here and a patch there, but not truly being able to put in the work. So it was just time to let it go and when an offer fell into my lap I decided to take it. I knew it would go to somebody that would put in the effort and if they sell it to someone else then maybe that person can say, "hey I own Primo's old Porsche!" Maybe they'll take that torch and run with it and do what I couldn't. So now the journey is on to take that step up. To find something I am proud of. Something that will shake the shutters and do exactly what I need it to do... and I hope you'll be along for the ride.
